Americano padel rules and scoring
A practical guide to partners, rounds and individual scoring in Americano. Agree a consistent setup before the first point.
Add points across two rounds
Anna earns 15 points in the first round and 10 in the next with a new partner, giving her 25 individual points. Her new partner’s earlier points are not transferred to her. Check recorded results after each round.
How individual Americano works
Four players share a court, playing two against two. Partners change between rounds according to the schedule. PerfectScore also has Team Americano for fixed pairs; choose the variant before generating matches.
Scoring example: 24 points
With 24 total points, a round might end 15–9. Each winning-side player receives 15 individual points; each opposing player receives 9. This is one event setup, not a universal requirement for Americano.
Plan your rounds
Choose courts, rounds and target points. The target is an event setting; the app does not stop play or automatically constrain entered results. More rounds allow more partner and opponent combinations, but the draw does not guarantee every possible combination.
