How to organize a padel tournament

Start with participants, court time and a format suited to the group. Then prepare rules, fixtures and result reporting so everyone knows what to expect.

Create tournament

Before the first match

Confirm the venue booking and entry list. Check names and fixed pairs, make sure the schedule fits your booking and verify court labels. Open the live link, nominate reporters and announce how ties will be handled.

Start with court time and participants

Book your venue and confirm numbers before drawing. Choose fixed pairs or individual entries to suit the format. Venue booking remains the organizer’s responsibility.

A realistic example

Eight players on two courts can play two doubles matches at once. Four 20-minute rounds need at least 80 minutes of playing time, plus changeovers and breaks.

Share the right link

Share the public live view with spectators. Give the tournament code to people who should report results and ask them to sign in. Joining with a code grants reporting access, so share it with your intended audience.
